Born in Johannesburg South Africa to a mother of Zulu descent and a father of Xhosa ancestry, Noah spent most of his childhood in the Netherlands. After graduating from high school in 1997 he moved to New York City to attend the School of Visual Arts where he studied graphic design for two years before dropping out to pursue comedy full-time.
